Bellevue Hospital - Outpatient Programs
The Outpatient Psychiatry Program of Bellevue Hospital provides treatment for a variety of mental health disorders and emotional problems. Individuals are assessed and referred to the many different programs according to their needs.
Bellevue Hospital - Ambulatory Community Psychiatry Programs
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an evidence-based comprehensive community program that provides services to individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness.
Adult Day Evaluation and Treatment Program (ADEPT) is an interdisciplinary continuing day treatment program.
Bilingual Treatment Program provides comprehensive psychiatric services in a Spanish-language or Chinese-language setting.
TLC serves homeless adult men with severe and persistent mental illnessess (SPMI).
MICA TLC ("The Greenhouse") serves mentally ill, chemically abusing homeless men.
Intensive Personality Disorder Program (IPDP) provides comprehensive assessment and integrative treatment to patients suffereing from personality disorders.

Psychiatric Outpatients Working for Empowerment and Rehabilitation (POWER) provides a highly structured low demand day treatment setting.
Saint Francis Residences are highly-supervised, low-demand residences for patients with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
Survivors of Torture Program provides ans integrated program of medical and mental health services for survivors of torture.
World Trade Center Psychiatry Component provides services to those directly affected by the events of 9/11.
Bellevue Hospital Substance Abuse Programs:
- Chemical Dependency Outpatient Program provides intensive treatment followed by outpatient services.
- Methadone Treatment Program provides intensive medical and psychiatric treatment.
- Recovery Program is a day treatment program for mentally ill, chemical abusing (MICA) patients.
- Substance Abuse Referral Program provides assessment and referrals to appropriate for the patient needs.

Assisted Outpatient Treatment Program provides court-mandated outpatient mental health services for adult clients with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI).
Psychoanalytic Institute at NYU Medical Center has trained mental health professionals in the theory and practice of psychoanalaytsis for more than 50 years. The Institute's programs have expanded to include training in adult and child/adolescent psychodynamic psychotherapy. We offer low-cost treatment to adults and children. Psychoanalytic Institute is a member institute of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
