Residency Training Program
Welcome to the New York University School of Medicine Residency Training Program in Psychiatry. Our residency is uniquely structured to provide training that combines clinical excellence with academic scholarship and research.We are part of the New York University School of Medicine and the NYU Langone Medical Center. Bellevue Hospital Center is the primary teaching and training site for our residents. Bellevue is the flagship hospital of New York City’s Health and Hospital Corporation, the nation’s largest municipal healthcare system. We are also affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan Psychiatric Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center, Rockland Psychiatric Center and the Nathan Kline Institute. Our program is unique in providing training at every level of the health care delivery system. We are renowned for our commitment to providing the best clinical care to patients from all socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures. This is coupled with a dedication to teaching, scholarship and research.
